Change Yourself to better change the world

Developing emotional intelligence

Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to recognize, understand, and manage one’s own emotions and to deal with the emotions of other people. It allows compassion for others to grow and blossom.

Empathetic distress and resilience

Emotional intelligence means that we are not overwhelmed by the emotions of others. Working on oneself is essential to avoid falling into empathetic distress. It’s about finding a balance between taking care of oneself and others.

It is important to keep in mind the three pillars: inspiration, training and engagement. Training allows for individual transformation as it also contributes to societal change. To preserve oneself and stay motivated it is important to reconnect with oneself and the sources of inspiration that sustain our well-being.

The importance of transforming oneself to better serve others and contribute to a better world.
