Special Opportunity: Plant a Kitchen Garden in India

In the remote region of Jharkhand, India, over 55% of children suffer from malnutrition.

Planting a kitchen garden for a destitute rural family will provide them with organic fruits and vegetables – an affordable and effective solution that reduces hunger and prevents malnutrition.

Karuna-Shechen’s goal is to distribute seeds, plants, irrigation systems, and training to over 450 families in-need to help them develop their own sustainable source of nutrition.

To accomplish this, Karuna-Shechen is participating in the GlobalGiving Foundation’s Accelerator, a fundraising opportunity for nonprofits around the world.
