Nepal Quakes: How we help communities rebuild their lives

Two million people were displaced by the 7.9 and 7.3 magnitude earthquakes that struck Nepal on April and May 2015, according to the National Population Census of Ministry of Home Affairs.

Thanks to your support, Karuna-Shechen was able to help over 200.000 people in 574 villages in the immediate aftermath of both earthquakes.

It is now time for reconstruction.

In September, we started implementing our rehabilitation intervention strategy to help communities rebuild their lives and villages.
