Please join Karuna-Shechen in making a difference in the lives of children in need today.
In Jharkhand, one of the most remote and under-served places in India, children ages 3-6 spend their days lingering in government-run nurseries, where they do not receive the stimulation their young minds need.
Karuna-Shechen’s solution is simple: develop an Early Child Care and Development Program that provides toys, training, and support so that children in the critical development stage receive engaging cognitive education.
To accomplish this, Karuna-Shechen is working with GlobalGiving, a fundraising partner for nonprofits around the world.
With your help, we will provide training to nursery employees, hire and teach village women to coordinate and lead activities, and deliver educational toys and engaging play that develops essential cognitive skills so these children can reach their potential.
Together, we can improve the quality of life for children in need years – and decades – to come.
