Course des Héros/Race of Heroes takes place annually in Paris, France to benefit various charities.
Some heroes apply their “compassion in action” by running (or walking) to support the projects of Karuna-Shechen. Since 2015, they have raised over $22,000 by collecting pledges from friends and family and running the race of heroes.
Catherine Kokoreff explains why she participates on our behalf: “By making a donation to Karuna-Shechen I feel as if I have sent the message to the world that we are linked together.”
And, from Alexandra de Nazelle: “I discovered Karuna-Shechen through Matthieu Ricard. It reflects the values that are important to me: kindness, altruism, and compassion. I admire its work to preserve the environment and to educate women and children in remote regions of the world.”
Other ways to get involved: Run in or create a local race in support of our programs, or let us know other ideas to help.
Thank you! Your active participation is crucial for the life of our programs.
